  • What Herbs Can Do For Your Weight Loss Post 2

Dexatrim, Dexadrine: Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is basically a diet pill that has no herbal component, but I thought a little insight into this wonder would be helpful, too. I don’t have to tell you about the “high” you can get on these. I couldn’t deal with it. I had the funniest feeling as if I had chills on the side of my head; I had some low back pain and a headache with this little wonder. I felt very stupid for trying it, but I had to know. I lasted one day on this supplement, and I wasn’t ever going to return.

Thermogenic Combinations: There is a lot to be said about thermogenics. They promote a burn in the metabolism, and that is exactly what they do. These contain a lot of B-vitamins and other metabolic stimulants. Most of these are just vitamin supplements and certainly don’t have the harmful side effects. If taken for a few months, there will be a benefit. I never seem to stick it out because I don’t see the results right away, and I get very discouraged.

Ok, everyone has a favorite!! Here’s mine!!

Chromium Piccolinate: This is a great one!! It is part of the American diet, requiring 200 mcg per day. If you can’t get it through your diet, take the reasonably priced alternative in pill form. I have never had such an outstanding response with a product as this!! I took it for four weeks in 1994. I was working 3 shifts at the local hospital, and really putting on the pounds because most of our cafeteria food was made from pure starch!!

Anyway, I gave up the French fries, and ate a little more dairy (yogurt), to make up for the loss of tummy filling fat from my diet!! I actually lost – EIGHT POUNDS, and kept it off until 1997! I still take this little wonder, 400 mcg every day. I’ve recently lost 1 pound this week alone, and am planning on continuing to do so! This is the most reasonably priced and most effective diet aid I can recommend. There are no side effects, and the body needs it to metabolize insulin. Please start out with the lower priced versions first. You will not be disappointed.

By the way, I’ve recruited a very dear co-worker to participate in an on-line diet. This is going to be a great deal of fun because Chris is a really energetic gal, and has already lost more than 20 lbs, on her own!! I am certain you’ll want to monitor her progress, and I will be reporting on it every week, when I can. I hope you will all support my dear friend!!
