WeedCast allows you to choose between Metric or US Standard units. The unit preference selected will affect output files and also switch the naming convention between common and scientific. To change the unit preference select Preference from WeedCast's main menu bar and then move the mouse cursor over Units.



On the slide out menu select a unit preference option by left clicking it.

Metric: Selecting Metric will render output units of (°C) for temperature values, millimeters for rainfall and centimeters for seedling height. Metric preference also uses scientific names for the weed species.

US Standard: The US Standard preference uses common names for weed species. Output units will be in (°F) for temperature, and in inches for rainfall and seedling height.
